Bike Citizens Cycling App GPS app good for

Great bike navigation app - only problem: map colours and the route on the smartphone need better clearer colours for the daytime.
The best bicycle routing I have seen and used in any app and I tried a lot of them. Rerouting is especially fast and reliable. The only downside are the voice commands, which can be confusing or unclear at times. So better have a look at your route before starting your ride with only voice guidance.
The app works really fine. It always brings me where I need. There is still a lot to improve like the fast option, but it is a good start point. Thats why the 4 stars.
The app is simple but it does its job. I would suggest you to add the option to save some destinations (work, home, etc)
After downloading various bike apps in the app store, I have finally found the right one. Bike citizens is just what you want from a bike app. The gps component is outstanding. It calculates the best route depending on the type of bike youre riding. 5 starts
For Bikes - the best, if your city is supported. And I tested a lot. So: install, check this and have a look at "Finn" in the tutorial. Thats a bikeholder for your Phone.

Some bad moments

I wish companies would stop offering apps in countries they dont support to get higher download stats. Not a single Canadian map but I downloaded it in the Canadian store. Dont waste your time.
Countinuoudsly in crash. iPhone 4s ios 7.1.2. I dont raccomend it.
Works better than the other bike navigator I tried. Succeeds in generating routes and with voice commands, but they are sometimes overestimate distance to intersections or dont specify which exit from a roundabout to take, so if youre not looking at the map, can leave you in the lurch. Would love to be able to save favorite destinations/routes. Another bonus feature would be routing that accounted for hills. Madrid is hilly! Generally quite happy with this and look forward to improvements.
This app has no support for these countries. Im not sure why Apple even has it on sale here.
Really useful app. I can have the phone in my front top jacket pocket and just listen to the instructions. No iPhone bike holder thing required :-)
Completely Eurocentric. Lacked Boston area one of the most commuter bike friendly places in the USA.
